What is super?
Superannuation is like a pension fund.
Once you earn over $450 per month it is a requirement for your employer to pay 9% of your wage into a super fund for you. We can help you get it back when you leave Australia.
How do I get a super refund?
To be eligible for a refund of your Super you need to have left the country and have your visa expired or cancelled (we can help you do this).
To get a super refund, complete this form and read the instructions about the documentation you to need to have. We can help you organise this before you leave Australia. You will need to send your final documentation when you arrive home.
How much will I get back?
Your employer paid 9% of your wages into a Super fund. The government will take 35% of your money when you withdraw it. Our fee is $250 so the rest is yours. Generally we recomend you apply for your Super return if you’ve earned $5000 or more.
How long will it take to get my super refund
Once we apply for your super refund your super fund has 28 days to respond, we check all your documents are in order before we send them which results in most Super refunds coming back within a month.
